Always try to blot away excess oil or grease with tissue paper or a clean piece of cloth. There are many home-based ingredients as well as professional cleaning agents that you can use for pre-treatment. Choose it as per your convenience & the type of fabric you are handling.
An absorbent powder such as cornflour or baking powder is excellent for treating grease & oil stains. Apply them to the stained area. Leave it for some time and then brush away.

Step 2
Wash with detergent
